2014.7.15

EVENING UPDATE/DAILY OVERVIEW:
The south swell is showing up! Buoy has been registering a little pulse of 13-14 sec SW since mid-day but the high tide kept it out of sight for a while. Checked it @ 16:00 and saw only shore break. Checked again @ 19:00 and there were waves. Nothing prolific but some nice thigh-waist high corners that seem to be liking the mid tide. Early low tomorrow will likely kill the pulse; I'll be checking it right around low/turn around to see if it does anything. Stay tuned.

Steady onshore breeze at 6:30 when I checked it this morning. Grey skies and shin high waves. The buoy is reading occasionally bigger sets so maybe on the tide push there'll be some fun ones. Nothing too consistent as of yet however. Just more small potatoes for today and with a healthy helping of wind on top. Only good for the dedicated long boarder maybe. With any luck the forecasted SW will show up in the next couple days while we've still got the negative morning tides.
