2017.12.7

Wind heavy offshore. Waves waist to head high. Lots of fun shoulders but pretty tricky to get into. Apologies to those of you who are missing the reports. I've got no excuse except that I am moving at the end of the year and that the lovely routine that going down the beach every morning once was had turned into a chore once I knew I was leaving. I might keep blogging but will be living in Ecuador for a couple months and won't be living in the headlands when I get back. Feel free to answer the questionnaire in this link if you're interested in seeing more (non-cron report) content from me

2017.10.31

Wind light offshore. Waves in the shin to thigh high range and infrequent. Last set of the video was "best set that had come through in 45 min". Looks like a good day to dust off your long board if you're up for waiting around in the cold for some shore break or to find another spot to surf.

2017.10.27

Wind light. Waves in the waist to chest high range with sets occasionally going head high and maybe a tiny over. Still some fun south in the water and fading NW making for medium-high consistency and fun conditions

2017.10.26

Wind light and variable. Waves in the chest to a bit overhead range with stand outs going maybe a couple feet overhead. Medium high consistency and plenty of hollow lines. Great day to get out if you can.

2017.10.25

Wind light. Waves in the chest to overhead range maybe going head and a half on the bigger stand out sets. Still LOTS of juice in the water but plenty of lulls keeping the paddle out manageable. Overall conditions are GOOD this morning at cron and I don't say that lightly. Not so big that it's terrifying but big enough to get the blood pumping on all but the most crazed of the adrenaline junkies. Lots of open shoulders and plenty of make-able waves off the peak too. Maybe one of the last warm days of the year so if you wanna feel that last lick of summer come on down and soak it up.

2017.10.24

wind medium offshore. Waves in the head to double overhead range. BIG SETS are inconsistent but are definitely out there. Know your limits, be safe and get out to your favorite sheltered spot to catch some swell if you can today
