2015.10.30

Wind light offshore. Waves in the waist to chest high zone and gutless. Should get even squishier with the higher tide but then again it could start working better on the inside bar.

2015.10.29

Wind medium-light offshore. Waves in the chest to overhead range and looking juicy. Likely some bomb sets going bigger than that and more likely with the rising tide. LOTS of water moving around giving it some weird texture and making it look not so user friendly.

2015.10.28

Wind light offshore. Waves in the chest to head high range, going overhead to head and a half on the outside sets. Large storm swell building in today that will likely see waves in the range of double overhead+ range here by the end of the day. If you aren't already on it then you've got about 45 mins before it becomes expert/kamikaze only. KNOW YOUR LIMITS.

2015.10.27

Wind light cross shore. Waves in the chest high range and easily going head high possibly + on the best sets. Fading swell is the game today for the NW but the SW swell is supposed to hold solid and be throwing some lines. Come and get some if you can today as it's likely the most user friendly we'll see this week.

2015.10.25

Wind cross/onshore and medium. Waves in the chest to head high zone easily going a foot or two overhead on standout sets. There is some chop on top from the wind but generally very makable looking lines on the beach today with a fast board. Lots of swell in the water; know your limits.

2015.10.24

Wind medium-heavy cross/onshore. Waves in the waist to chest range going head high on better sets and looking open on the shoulders and with relatively smooth faces. Looks like a lot of fun out there right now (9:45) and there'll be plenty of swell all day.

Wind light offshore. Waves in the chest high range going head high and with juice at moderate-high frequency. Old SW swell finally showed up a bit along with a larger NW swell building in throughout today makes for some solid lines.

Wind medium onshore. Waves in the shin to thigh high range. No SW swell to speak of but the NW wind keeps blowing in little lines for us. Bring good volume and your game face if you want to find some lines today.

2015.10.21

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist high range occasionally going chest high on the better sets. No SW swell to speak of but just enough NW windswell to make it fun. Lots of motivation or better yet board volume will be needed to make it happen this morning. High low tide makes for squishy lines.

2015.20.10

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist high zone going chest high occasionally with just a little bit of juice to them. SW swell hasn't really shown up yet but the residual NW is still kind of fun. SW not likely to really show up with any consistency until tomorrow or even Wednesday.

2015.10.19

UPDATE:Waves were peaking in the chest-head high range today with power fading fast into the afternoon of wind-bowls. It was choppy and sloppy for sure but with a fun little evening glass off. Tomorrow likely holds only small stuff(thigh-waist occ. chest high) early on with some longer period SW potentially building in for an inconsistent appearance of juicy little walls later in the afternoon/evening. NPR said windy late tonight which could make for a bumpy morning.

Can't get out to check it until the afternoon but expect onshore wind with a bumpy surface & waves up to overhead with juice.

2015.10.18

Wind heavy out of the north west coming cross shore. Waist to chest high probably going head high and looking juicy but hard to line up/get into. Combo short period NW and residual small SW swell making for some difficult but fun looking conditions for the motivated surfer. Choppy out the back with crumbly lips but clean/smooth looking wave faces on the inside.

2015.10.17

Wind medium heavy onshore. Waves in the thigh to waist high zone occasionally going chest high. Chop on top and generally pretty bad looking form all around. They aren't closing out too much but it doesn't look good after what we've had this past week. Surf today if you can't any other but tomorrow should at least bring much more size

2015.10.16

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist to chest high range and lots of open lines. Small fading NW mix with SW combo are making for a fun looking morning. High tide will likely have it kind of swamped for an hour on ether side but looking very fun/clean and manageable right now @ 9:00 AM.

2015.10.15

Wind medium onshore. Bumpy texture on top. Waves chest high mostly with some waist and head high sets thrown in now and again. Swell is definitely fading a bit and will more so in the next two days before coming back Sunday. Still plenty of juicy ones out there if you can come down and surf some today.

2015.10.14

Wind light onshore. Waves in the chest to head high + zone and juicy. Wonky corners with a bit of backwash on the high tide but lots of fun ones in between. Should be good all week -- likely best in the morning with the lower tide before the wind gets on it. No vid today or likely at all until I leave at the end of October; sorry folks, just working with what I have and it doesn't make sense to invest when probably I won't be around much longer.

2015.10.9

Wind medium light offshore. Waves waist to head high+. Buoy is picking up a new 18 sec 3 ft SW swell that should provide even more juicy surf today before the humungous SW builds in later tonight. USE CAUTION when surfing here today. More protected south swell spots like Bolinas should be pumping today through the weekend.

Wind light. Waves waist to head high. Should be good all day today. Waves to begin picking up significantly tomorrow late and we should see well overhead surf Sat and Sun here from a pretty humungous SW swell on the radar. Advanced & kamikaze surf here on Sat/Sun, head out to Bolinas or down to Pacifica for more mellow but still pumping waves. Winter is coming.

Fair amount of surface bump outside and a little backwashy on the inside but plenty of clean-ish lines in between for anyone motivated enough to get out there today. Building wind swell throughout the day should provide waves in the waist-head high+ zone. Wind is forecast to get stronger with the building swell so get on it ASAP for the cleanest conditions.

Light wind. Waves in the thigh to waist high zone. Very small but little SW being drawn in off the bar with the low tide and patience will bring small but juicy sets, not all of which are closed out. Look for middle of the day to be throughly drowned out but fun small surf in the morning & evening.
