2015.9.30

Wind light offshore. Waves in the thigh to waist high zone. Tide is drained letting them feel the bottom further out making decent potential for long/fun-board waves if you can beat the closeout. Forecast says high wind/tide this afternoon and little to no swell tomorrow; get it if you can or wait until the weekend.

2015.9.29

Wind medium heavy onshore. Waves in the waist high zone. Bumpy out the back but keeping some form inside. Likely getting sloppier as the day goes on. Forecast is showing solid SW in the water for the today & tomorrow which should produce waist high+ waves at moderate or better consistency

2015.9.28

No video this morning. Remote report this morning; Wind light this morning coming off the low tide. Waves likely in the shin to thigh high range with the very small SW & NW wind swell combo at play. The tide will likely drown it out very quickly now if it hasn't already -- look for best surf nowish and again in the evening after the tide comes down.

2015.9.26

Wind medium onshore. Waves in the waist high zone and looking like squishy shore break. Should gather a little more juice with the lower tide later while likely loosing most of the "form" it currently has. Forecast says that some decent sized mid-short period swell will show up throughout the day tomorrow for some fun but probably sloppy surf. NO REPORT TOMORROW. Enjoy your weekend folks!

2015.9.25

Wind light offshore. Waves in the thigh to waist high range and looking lumpy while acting wonky. Lower tide could help the shape a bit but likely won't do any favors to the size or consistency. Best bet for fun waves is probably between now and a couple hours from now but it'll probably be a pleasant day to be out at any point today.

2015.9.24

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist high range and relatively shore-breaky. Sets in the chest high range likely to appear as the tide drops out into the afternoon but backwash and choppier seas are also likely to accompany.

2015.9.23

Wind light offshore. Waves in the waist high range. Looks a lot more fun/open than it did yesterday. The tide will have it mostly drowned most of the day but still plenty of waves for anyone who is motivated. Cleanest now getting sloppier as the day goes on. Look for more juice with increased SW swell tomorrow.

2015.9.22

Wind heavy onshore. Waves in the thigh to waist high range, possibly getting into the chest high range later with better tides and building wind swell. Nothing for the fair weather surfer out there today but the motivated surfer might find an open shoulder.

2015.9.21

Wind very light onshore. Waves in the thigh high range and entirely shorebreak at this point. Wind to pick up later in the morning and waves won't really change much with the insignificant tide swing. Windswell tomorrow will probably be the best bet for waves until at least Thursday, maybe the weekend.

2015.9.20

Wind light onshore. Waves in the shin to waist high range. Not a lot of power but a few open corners with decent form. Not a ton of chop on top so a fun day to bring out a little extra volume and enjoy the pacific in your thinnest/no wetsuit. It's going to be a warm one.

2015.9.19

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist high zone. Little backwash action and chop on top out the back. Not likely that it'll get any cleaner or better today. Forecast shows strong onshore wind and a fading swell. Bright side is it's a beautiful day and looks like coastal clean up is in action. Couldn't ask for a better day to pursue the beach for any items out of place and export them to the nearest trash.

2015.9.16

Wind light onshore. Waves in the shin to thigh range going waist high on better sets and chest high on best sets. Looking very open but with much less juice than we've been seeing the last week and a half. Bring some extra volume today. More SW forecast to build in overnight -- should be fun tomorrow.

2015.9.15

Wind onshore medium/heavy. Waves mostly in the waist high zone going chest high+ on best sets which are of medium consistency. Sloppy and choppy for sure but with lots of fun little nuggets staying open, many of which have good potential for down the line speed. Likely to get sloppier as the day rolls on but worth coming out if you're motivated.

2015.9.14

2015.9.13

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist to chest high zone and looking clean. Lots of open corners with a little chop out back that will move in as the wind picks up. Probably the most fun now as the wind will likely get it good and ripped up in the next couple hours.

2015.9.12

Wind medium/light offshore. Waves in the waist to head high range and wonky but staying mostly open. Lots of clean inside sections and seemingly enough consistency to hold the saturday crowd without any trouble. The swell will likely fade a bit throughout the day as the wind turns around and comes onshore but it's hard to predict considering the wind was forecast onshore for right now.

2015.9.11

Wind medium onshore. Waves in the waist to chest high zone going head high on better sets. Looking a little bumpy already from the wind and forecast to get steadily worse throughout the day. Should be fun despite this as the SW swell is fading & the period is coming down which means more open lines than the last few days. More small SW swell should provide smallish but consistent surf throughout the week but nothing too significant to look forward to for a few days at least.

2015.9.10

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist to chest zone going head high with moderate frequency and overhead on occasion. SW swell continues to bring solid consistency to the beach with juicy sections abounding but makable sections less so. Size should drop off a fair bit tomorrow leaving less juice but more makable sections. Wind should stay light all day.

2015.9.9

Wind offshore. Waves in the waist to head high zone probably going a little overhead on the best sets. Little wonky despite the good wind but still looks very fun. Wind is forecast light for most of the day and there is probably enough sand left to hold it through high tide so come out and get some.

Wind very light cross/off shore. Waves in the head chest to head high+ range going head and a half on the best sets. Chunky backwash and heavy rips are present. NOT a BEGINNER DAY. Felt like a balmy 68 down on the beach at 7 so it'll probably be a hot one. Forecast predicts the wind will stay light most of the day and the waves will keep coming.

2015.9.5

Wind light onshore. Waves in the waist to chest zone with medium consistency, lots of backwash and a pretty good crowd out there. Looks fun and like it might even be a bit more so a bit later with the lower tide as long as the wind doesn't get to it too early. Forecast is predicting more longer period SW swell through the weekend into monday so keep your fingers crossed that theres some consistency to it and stay tuned.
