2017.10.31

Wind light offshore. Waves in the shin to thigh high range and infrequent. Last set of the video was "best set that had come through in 45 min". Looks like a good day to dust off your long board if you're up for waiting around in the cold for some shore break or to find another spot to surf.

2017.10.27

Wind light. Waves in the waist to chest high range with sets occasionally going head high and maybe a tiny over. Still some fun south in the water and fading NW making for medium-high consistency and fun conditions

2017.10.25

Wind light. Waves in the chest to overhead range maybe going head and a half on the bigger stand out sets. Still LOTS of juice in the water but plenty of lulls keeping the paddle out manageable. Overall conditions are GOOD this morning at cron and I don't say that lightly. Not so big that it's terrifying but big enough to get the blood pumping on all but the most crazed of the adrenaline junkies. Lots of open shoulders and plenty of make-able waves off the peak too. Maybe one of the last warm days of the year so if you wanna feel that last lick of summer come on down and soak it up.

2017.10.24

wind medium offshore. Waves in the head to double overhead range. BIG SETS are inconsistent but are definitely out there. Know your limits, be safe and get out to your favorite sheltered spot to catch some swell if you can today

2017.10.23

wind light. Waves in the head high to head and a half range, occasionally going double overhead. Looks like a few shoulders to find for serious chargers. Know your limits and stick to more protected breaks if you need to. I know I'll be waiting this one out.

2017.10.20

Wind light offshore. Waves in the head high to double overhead range. LOTS of water moving. Good day to come down and look but probably not a safe (or rewarding even if you get lucky) bet to paddle out.

Wind light offshore. Waves I. The waist to chest high range. Consistency still just medium but seriously.fun shoulders to be had on most tides. Hard to get into so a little extra length is beneficial.

2017.10.16

Wind medium onshore. Waves in the thigh high range and with medium-low frequency. Looks fun for the right piece of foam and motivation. Keep hopes high and expectations low and should be looking good for waves for the rest of the week.

2017.10.13

wind light offhsore. Waves in the thigh high range mostly going waist high on better sets. Size has mostly gone out of it and likely won't see much more until more SW shows up later in the weekend. Still looks fun for the right board on the right tide

2017.10.10

wind medium off shore. waves in the waist to chest high range with biggest sets going head high. Lots of fun shoulders but it looks tricky. It's getting colder so bring out your thicker wet suit. Smokey conditions make today no good for anyone who has lung issues.

Wind medium heavy off shore. Waves in the chest to head high range going over head on bigger sets and looking wonky and a bit difficult in terms of finding a good shoulder but overall pretty solid conditions

2017.10.6

wind light. Waves in the chest to head high range going a bit overhead on standout sets. Messy and closed out mostly but maybe showing better form on favorable tides? Mostly too much sand for this swell...

2017.10.5

Wind very very light offshore. Waves in the shin to thigh range. Another morning with little and less in the way of waves. What little pulse we see is coming from an ~11 sec NW that is barley sneaking in. More NW forecast for tomorrow along with SSW but who's really to saw what it'll all end up looking like? Best to keep hopes high and expectations low.

2017.10.4

Wind light offshore. Waves in the shin to thigh high range with occasional waist high sets. Last day to bring out a log before it picks up big for several days. Thursday may retain smaller form for the morning but by Friday AM we're looking at 3-4ft SW(195°) @ 18+ sec comboed up with 4-5ft of NW(~300°) @ 15 sec pulsing through the weekend followed by a larger but shorter period NW forecast for early next week. Could be epic or could be messy, probably a bit of both depending on where you land.

2017.10.2

Wind light offshore. Waves in the shin to thigh and occasionally waist high range. Not much kick to them and it's a little chilly out. Car thermometer said 45 dug-rees on the drive down. Look for SW swell to start building in through Thurs-into Friday and macking through the weekend. Likely a slightly smaller version of the big SW we had back in August coming our way later in the week. Until then more of the same little lines.
