2014.7.14

13:30 UPDATE:
The tide's come up and the waves've stayed small. All looking like shore break ATM but there's a fair chance of some fun dinker waves this evening. Wind's light onshore and if yesterday's any indicator it'll stay that way. Sun's out and looking lovely so it's an all around nice day at the beach. Water is a balmy 61.5 out there now; took a dip without the wetsuit yesterday at south rodeo and it was actually pretty pleasant! Photos taken @ 13:30

Small, glassy and this time with light offshore wind. Mostly clear skies that will hopefully get nicer but likely get worse first. It's looking like a pretty unridable jumble right now but there is a small SW registering with enough consistency on the buoy that there will probably be some fun ones once the tide turns around at 7:30. Lots of exposed rock makes for a cool view of the reef if you ever wanted a glimpse at what's really going on underwater at the point. I'll likely be back later with an afternoon update for anyone thinking of making the evening low tide session, hopefully with good news.
