2014.10.18

Where does it come from? I don't know but the buoy's reading an increased avg period and it's showing in the water. We're seeing waist to head high waves running all over the beach this morning under clear skies. The wind is very light and I couldn't gauge it from the lot but looks offshore by the waves. 5.4ft high at 9:00 then a not-so-low of 1.93ft at 14:50 followed by a 5ft night time high @ 20:30. No crowds or surfers at all to speak of in the lineup around 7:15 but things are certain to thicken up right quick.
