Wind light offshore. Waves in the thigh to waist high zone and looking wonky with the high tide. Yesterday got punchy without losing much size towards the low tide & today we've got some small & shadowed long period swell supposed to build through out the day. Wouldn't expect to see anything over chest high but there'll probably be some nice juicy ones sprinkled about, especially a couple hours to ether side of the low tide. low of 0.2ft @ 13:50. Wind is forecast to go medium-strong onshore pretty quickly in the afternoon.

Wind light offshore. Waves in the thigh to waist high zone and coming in at medium consistency. Looking pretty fun with a little bit of backwash wobble that should die off as the tide comes down. Would expect to see the overall size come down a bit with the tide too. Looks like an overall fun morning to drag your log out to the beach. Low tide of 0.5ft @ 12:50. Wind is supposed to go onshore pretty quickly in the afternoon so come get it while it's clean if you can.

Wind is medium-heavy cross shore out of the south. Waves are in the shin to thigh high range occasionally going waist high and looking sloppy. Wind is forecast to stay steady; a higher tide later in the afternoon might help it out a bit, but overall a day to do other things unless you're real motivated to get wet. Could be a decent corner in there for a long or body board/hand plane.

Heavy offshore this morning. Waves in the thigh to waist high range and looking advanced level only in this wind. Occasional sets up to chest high but mostly closed out with shoulders staying open around thigh-waist level. 1.15ft low at 10:25 has it drained; might be something worth looking at on the push throughout the afternoon as the wind is forecast to taper off.

Wind offshore at medium speed. Waves looking chest to head high and mostly closed out at this point. It should come up very quickly to something in the overhead range, possibly going head and a half before the day is out. It will likely just get more closed out here as the day progresses.

Heavy cross shore breeze coming out of the SE this morning. Waves in the ankle to shin zone and not breaking more than 6-10 ft off the beach. They'd be some impressive little long board waves throwing 10ft spray tails if the tide were lower. Doesn't seem like we'll see any waves here today; best bet south-ways is going to be ether pacifica or OB.

Wind is medium-light offshore. Waves in the waist to chest high zone and looking fun/playful. Big high tide of 7.1ft @ 11:20 will wash it out in the next hour or so. Wind is forecast to stay light all day so avoid the high tide by and hour and come out and get some fun little waves.

Wind offshore. Waves waist to chest high and looking squishy and hard to read/not very fun to ride with the high tide. big 7.2ft high tide @ 10:30. Like yesterday wind is forecast to go onshore in the afternoon. Low tide of -1.2ft @ 17:10.

Wind medium-strong offshore. Waves mostly chest-head high looking more like head high or a bit overhead in the middle, generally chunky and closed out. Some really fun looking corners but between the strong wind and surface chop looks hard to be in the right place at the right time. Big 7.2ft high tide at 9:40 this morning won't get mushy as the swell's still building. Wind is forecast to go onshore in the early afternoon but the tide will probably be best on the ebb towards the 16:30 -1.1ft low. Good day to body surf by the looks of it.

Making a remote post today so hard to say where the conditions will be exactly. Looks waist to chest high and low consistency. Wind light offshore but set to turn onshore mid afternoon. Tide is a -0.8ft @ 15:45. Seems like right now until an hour before low is the time to go.

Wind is very light offshore. Waves in the waist to chest high zone, mostly chest high with the occasional head high set coming through. Consistency is overall moderate-low and we're looking at around 50% close outs if you're sitting in the middle of a peak. Lots of open shoulders that should stay open and get really fun throughout the day with the tide coming down. Swell is supposed to be fading and wind coming light onshore later but there should be fun waves all day. Come get 'em!

Wind light offshore. Waves mostly in the chest to head high zone and looking 75% closed out. Lots of fun corners and some overhead sets coming in at moderate-low consistency. Looks like the high tide isn't helping matters. Low tide of 0.65ft around 13:35 should bring more open lines & barrels. Bring your hand plan, short board or buggie stick out and get some.

Wind heavy offshore. Waves looking waist to chest high and likely up to head high in the middle(hard to judge no one surfing there). Looks real hard to get into with how the wind is blowing and barely if at all makable. Big long period west swell forecast to show up about now so keep your eyes on the buoy; best best is sooner rather than later - low tide will keep it from blowing up too fast but after the 1.2ft 12:45 low all bets are off; could get closed real quick. I get the sense that this might be the end of the good sand bars.

Wind's medium-heavy offshore and waves are in the thigh to waist high zone. Looks like a lot of little close outs with some tough to make corners in between. Bring out your step up, fun board or long board and you'll find some fast barrels if you've got a quick pop up. For beginner/intermediate level riders you'll have a tough time today until the wind tapers off this afternoon. 11:45 low of 1.7ft

Wind is light to non-existent. Waves in the thigh to waist zone probably going chest high+ on an infrequent basis. 2.1ft low @ 10:40. High of 4.1ft @ 16:10 -- very little tidal movement today which is a bit of a bummer because the backwash seems to be doing a thing and probably will until later this afternoon. Wind is supposed to stay light/offshore until later this afternoon as well. I suppose you can't score all the days.

Combination of a higher tide and the wind is making the waves really unappealing right now. I'd say go south but the freeway is closed at Marin City - no GGB this weekend.

Waves are solid chest to head high this morning with lots of open lines and fun rides to be had. Wind is light to non-existent this morning and is set to stay light/offshore all day if things pan out well. Coming up on a 5.3ft high tide around 13:15 which shouldn't diminish the waves much, if at all. Come out and enjoy it folks - it's going to be a pain getting here over the weekend.

Wind offshore. Waves waist to chest high and looking real pretty. Avoid the high tide by an hour if you can today but otherwise there'll be surf. Look for waves to start closing out more later in the day as long period NW shows up. Keep your eye on the buoy. Could still be fun if the tide drops out low enough. UPDATE: Long period already showing on the buoy @ 20 sec; hopefully it'll just help push little south in for now, come and get some while it's clean because it probably won't stay so sweet for long.

Offshore this morning at the lake. Damn cool breeze it is with frost on the ground in select places in the valley this morning. No waves to speak of but looks like another beautiful day. If the wind stays east Ocean Beach is a good bet for some fun little waves.
